One of the 3DS’ coolest new features added by the recent update is the ability to take 3D video.  Now watching these videos in 3D on the 3DS is pretty neat, but don’t you want to share your ridiculous 3D antics with the world?  I know I do.  What better way to do that than uploading your videos to YouTube?  Yes,YouTube does in fact support 3D video.  Unfortunately, it’s surprisingly difficult and complicated to get your 3DS videos to display properly in 3D once uploaded toYouTube.  It certainly isn’t as simple as uploading the file to YouTube from the SD card.  If you try, it will not work.  Hopefully sometime in the future, it will be much easier to get our 3D cat videos onto YouTube.  Until that time comes, we’ve got this handy-dandy tutorial for you!

Can you believe it’s been five years since the Wii first came out?  Five years since Nintendo was unanimously agreed to be in last place in the console race?  Five years since motion controls were considered a failure waiting to happen?  Five years since all of those Wii sexual innuendos?  Can you believe it’s been five years since the last console Zelda game?  What in the wide world of video gaming has Nintendo been doing these past five years?  Well, in addition to enjoying the unexpectedly explosive success of their “subpar” home console, they’ve been working harder than they ever have to create not only the best Wii game ever, but perhaps, the best Zelda game ever.  With the Wii U, Nintendo’s next home console, hitting shelves sometime next year, Nintendo wanted The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to be their swan song to the Wii.  Ladies and gentlemen, they succeeded.  If you read nothing else in this review, read this: get this game.

Oh, Sonic, Sonic, Sonic…  How long has it been since you had a good game?  I suppose that answer will vary depending on how much individual Sonic fans are willing to forgive, but the general consensus is that it’s been far too long.  I myself am a huge Sonic fan despite being a die-hard Nintendo fanboy.  While other kids were reading comics about some lame guys in tights called Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man, I was busy reading up on the blue rodent with an attitude and an appetite for chili dogs.  Despite my love for Sonic, playing Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii felt like each member of Sonic Team coming up to me one by one and slapping me in the face and spitting in my eye.  Needless to say, that game completely turned me off of the franchise I once adored (at the time I didn’t have a 360 or PS3 for that Sonic the Hedgehog to do it for me).  Praise the gaming gods for Sonic Generations!  Ever since its first trailer, the game has looked great, but fans (myself included) remained understandably skeptical.  Now that the game is out, and I’ve spent countless hours with it, I am very pleased to say that Sonic Generations broke the curse of the Sonic Cycle and is the best Sonic game I have played in a long time.

In case you missed it, Nintendo gave us a new Ocarina of Time 3D trailer today.  In addition to being another minute of drool-inducing footage, it’s a near perfect recreation of the first Ocarina of Time 64 trailer.  Because of this, they must be compared.  It’s as simple as that.
